FREE TREES FOR RECYCLED PHONE BOOKS?!
Full Description:
For each ton of phone books dropped off at the parks through December 22nd, AT&T Yellow Pages will donate 17 trees as a symbol of the number of trees saved through recycling.
Everyone is encouraged to drop off phone books anytime at the Reno and Sparks park Departments before the deadline, or bring them to any one of these upcoming events.
Kid's Night Out 7-8 p.m. Friday at the historic Huffaker Schoolhouse in Bartley Ranch Park.
It's a Wonderful Christmas Craft Fair at the Lazy 5 Regional Park, 7100 Pyramid Lake Highway, Spanish Springs. Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
Children's Holiday Watercolor Workshop, 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Wilbur D. May Museum in Rancho San Rafael.
Holiday Tree Lighting at the Wilbur D. May Arboretum 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
